Scent Systems Oeillet Perfume

Generations have grown-up without realizing that carnation flowers, or oeillet, are supposed to have a heart-meltingly beautiful spicy floral scent. Today carnations are bred for their beautiful form and colour and in the rush to perfect their appearance, they have lost their scent.

Carnation is one of the easiest flower scent notes to recognize and once known, never forgotten. Oeillet is a spicy floral perfume that has a soft powdery scent with fiery, almost clove-like notes. Many have never come across such a powerful spicy-floral theme and thus are ignorant of the powers of such flower scents can have. We can still learn important perfume lessons from the 4th century Indian text - The Karma Sutra – where carnation scent played a key role in erotic sexual arousal.
