Jasmine is one of the most astonishing natural oils in the perfume studio. As it takes one million flowers to produce 1 kg of absolute, the only regret, which most perfumers have, is that because of the cost they cannot use this central ingredient of fine erotic perfumery; they have to make-do with synthetic equivalents.

Jasmine is known as the ‘Queen of the night’ as the flowers do not emanate scent during the day. The flowers are therefore picked from the plant at dawn.
